Sylvie van der Vaart has been honored with a One of a kind Barbie doll.
The unique Barbie doll has been represented during the international toy fare in Nurnberg. With the launch of the girlie toy, Sylvie has launched the ‘Design with Barbie’ competition, in which children across Europe get the chance to create their very own fashion design for style icon Barbie.
The outfit this miniature Sylvie van de Vaart is wearing has been put together by her personal stylist, the well known Danie Bles. Everything, from top to toe, from make-up to the eleven carat diamond ring and the fake-lashes: it’s all been thought through and copied from Sylvie’s real-life look. Jan Taminiau is responsible for the crème colored dress the One of a kind Barbie is wearing. Sylvie wore the dress as a jury member on the German TV-show ‘Let’s dance’’.
Every year, a new Barbie doll is being introduced, one unique edition inspired by a famous female personality. Not for sale, solemnly for honoring these power women with their own Barbie doll. Victoria of Sweden, Angela Merkel and Belgian tennis player Kim Clijsters, among others, are women in who’s footsteps Sylvie van der Vaart will follow. As a loving wife and mom, charming TV-host, style icon and lady full of willpower when fighting against breast cancer, Sylvie is the ideal candidate to be an example for young girls around the globe.
