Style.com’s first printed magazine

Style.com has built up a famous name in fashion since the start in 2000 and now the time is ripe for a printed magazine. From the latest trend reports to up-to-date runway pictures, from must-haves to off-duty-model-looks, from Tommy Ton street-style photos to the best dressed, best bags, and best shoes; this website has it all.

The cover only reveals a flamingo pink lipped Lindsey Wixson, no teasers about what fashion-candy might be hidden inside the magazine. Much of the content is similar to the online version, but it is said that the first 100 pages can be read within 5 minutes, which gives the magazine a swiftness no web page can live up to.

“We wanted to give the reader a sense of what it is like to go through the journey of the shows, from New York to London to Milan to Paris,” said Dirk Standen, the editor of Style.com. The idea was basically to create a collectible distillation of what happened during the spring 2012 runway season, which ended only three weeks ago. For the one willing to read, the magazine also contains articles with an insiders view.

It can be bought in newsstands or can be ordered online and shipped abroad, plus additional shipping costs. The first edition will satisfy fashion crowds eye within the next week.
