Louis Vuitton has been dressing many of us in style for years now, but have you ever smelled the very essence of Louis Vuitton? Marc Jacobs has been successfully launching his perfume lines and now he’s got Louis Vuitton’s nose eager for smells as well.
Renown perfumer Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud will start mixing rare flowers and other yet-to-be-revealed ingredients into a Louis V worthy blend. Cavallier-Belletrud has been in the perfume business for generations, almost as long as Louis Vuitton has been designing. His nose has given Jean Paul Gaultier’s Classic, Dior‘s Addict, L’Eau d’Issey, Stella’s Stella McCartney and Yves Saint Laurent’s Cinema the extraordinary the enchanting schwung. In 2004, the Frenchman even received the prestigious Prix François Coty Parfumeur 2004 Award.
Louis V’s first perfume; will this be the new Chanel #5? We will keep you posted.
