Watch this speech by Steve Jobs at Stanford University and be inspired by his tools to success
In the video, he explains he has always followed his heart by doing the things he loved. Even if they didn’t make any sense or didn’t seem to have any connection to each other at the time. You can only make the connection afterwards.
He proceeds to speak about failure, about his up’s and down’s at Apple and even about him being fired at one point. Failure is there to teach you something. Failure is actually a good thing, what lead Steve to do the things he should have been doing.
Ironically as it may sound now, after some years have passed by since this speech, his third teaching is about death. When you keep in mind that every day could be your last, the very last of all your days, and you question yourself: do I really want to do what I’m doing at this moment? Am I where I should be? And your answer is “no” to many days in a row, it’s time to make a change.
Steve Jobs has always let himself be guided by faith and did what gave him the most energy, every day of his life. He was a man who first developed for people, not power and that’s exactly why he was as successful as he was. Good job Steve Jobs.
