Dior’s latest make-up video brings us back to childhood memories, to staring at a good old Pacham, Tetris or Super Mario screen for hours in a row.
Inspired by these classic games, Dior has molded the entire new make-up collection into an entertaining video-game. No perfect models, smooth skins and seducing lip-stick rituals, just a computer animated lady, hopping from nail polish to nail polish, avoiding closing eye shadow cases.
A constantly swifting fashion market demands a continuous flow of new ideas. Keeping it fresh and original is a challenge, one in which the marketing department of Dior has succeeded very well indeed.
