In over 100 countries, architects and engineers have put their genius together to create enormous structures built entirely from full cans of food. The initiative, held in the World Financial Center in New York, has been a success over 19 years now.
In the weeks prior to Thanksgiving, the sculptures, like these mind-blowing Alexander McQueen shoes, can be admired by the public. Afterwards, the pieces of art will be dismantled and donated to City Harvest and will go to those in need.
Feel like offering a helping hand? Get into action and help break last years 200.000 collected cans record! Tuna, peas, veggies, beans or salmon: all high quality food will be welcomed with open arms at the exhibition’s collection station located above Starbucks in the World Financial Center’s courtyard.
Give now you can!
